Chop at Salem Animal Rescue League

“Meet Chop! Chop is a great boy that has stolen all of our hearts here! This ray of sunshine is always happy, he loves people, and wants nothing more than a home that will love, snuggle, and play with him! He has had quite the journey to get to Sarl so he can find his furever home. If you would like to read about Chop's heartwarming journey from Florida to New Hampshire please check out the link below to read his story. You will need to copy and paste the link as a new web address.
Chop loves to play and is a very energetic and enthusiastic player, so he should go with children aged 10 and up who are not easily knocked down. Chop could potentially go with children as young as 8 years old as long as the family is dog savvy and understands he may jump up and become mouthy.
Additionally, the adopter of Chop should recognize that Chop is partially blind due to retinal atrophy and can become spooked if he can't see someone walking towards him. Usually calling his name and talking to him does the trick. Once he hears his name and your voice he will look for you. Once he finds you, watch out! He will bombard you will lots of slobbery kisses and will try to sit in your lap! :) He just has so much love to give and really needs a family to share it with.
This boy will make an amazing addition to his new family! If you would like to meet this sweet boy, come down to Salem Animal Rescue League during adoption hours!”
