Thinking of getting a Passat with upgraded sound? This Sound & Style version adds RM8k over the price of the regular Passat 2.0 and gives you 19-inch rims, a Helix 500W sound bar, aluminium pedals, side sill plates, and window films.

Alternatively, a similar upgrade also offered with the Passat 1.8 TSI for RM6.5k.

A worthwhile upgrade? Yes, if you like the add-ons, but otherwise, the standard car is good enough. The advantage of this package is that the accessories are added on and protected by your car's warranty, and the cumulative value of these items do add up to more than RM8k. I wish the sound bar's installation looks a little neater though.
