U.S. Navy: Russian destroyer almost collided with cruiser The U.S. Navy says a Russian destroyer nearly collided with one of its vessels today. Video released by the Navy shows the near-collision in the Philippine Sea, when the Russian destroyer made what the U.S. Navy calls an "unsafe maneuver" against the USS Chancellorsville.
