A nurse who spent 39 years caring for patients at a Pennsylvania hospital was given an honor walk as she was taken to complete her final act of care, organ donation. Mary Desin worked in the emergency room at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Hamot. Her friend and colleague Donny McDowell said that Desin collapsed in the parking garage at the hospital.
