What Happened to Apex Legends? | Is it a Dead Game?

Apex Legends was massively successful when it launched back in February of this year but now it seems much of the hype is dead, despite the quality of the gameplay. Today I wanted to discuss what I feel contributed to the apparent downfall of Apex and how I think they could have prevented it. What are your thoughts on the current state of Apex Legends?
