Although congress won one of the Lok Sabha seat in North Goa Congress Spokesperson blamed the Calangute MLA Michael Lobo over his involvement in the whole episode. Agnelo said frustrated BJP supporter were with congress but due to Michael lobo they changed their way back to BJP. He said people of Calangute will never allow Lamanis to rule Calangute although Michael lobo is friend of them.
