Another week, another frustrating trip to the local drag strip. It feels like I’ve been chasing headache after headache without any real progress. I logged the 1st pass of the night expecting to see false knock still causing issues, but that wasn’t the case at all. Upon realizing false knock wasn’t the cause of my issues this time around, we actually left the car at the track, drove across the city and picked up an Ngauge and a laptop to get some more detailed datalogs over to the tuner. What we found left us all very confused. I cannot thank American Outlaw Designs or Johnson Tuning enough for all their hard work and support. From trackside help, to after-hours log reviews & tune revisions... Those guys have been priceless.
We really think we got the car on the right track now and we’re all excited to see what happens the next chance we get to stage the car and send it down the strip!
