But the TV personality and interior designer, who is the co-host on Foxtel’s popular program Selling Houses Australia, was left mortified by this ‘feature’ during last night’s finale episode. The million dollar home, located on Sydney’s South Coast in the quaint town of Dolphin Point, had a lot going for it. Sweeping ocean views, five bedrooms and only three hours drive from Sydney. But upon closer inspection, the team found a pretty telling reason why it wasn’t appealing to buyers. The master ensuite had no bathroom door. The toilet was literally staring directly at the bed.Pardon.Source:Foxtel Cue Shaynna’s reaction.Yeek.Source:Foxtel Andrew Winter was outraged by the, quote, “open plan toilet”. “What is that?!” he asked the resident’s long-term owners Steve and Serena.Ya kidding?!Source:Foxtel It got worse from there. They needed to fork out about $60,000 to get it in a state to sell, with the SHA team focusing on expanding the tiny kitchen, opening up the living room and — of course — sorting out the open plan toilets. The investment paid off, with the home selling for a pretty $1.2 million after only a week.
