30 calendar days of leave and 1 FREE annual leave ticket is provided per year to go back home. You can change this ticket to reach any destination on the Emirates network after 3 years of service. Within those 3 years you must use it only to go back home.
There's also staff travel tickets: they work on Emirates flights but also for other airlines. Your direct family can avail of these tickets too.
There are 2 types of staff tickets:
50% Discount and 90% Discount.
All 50 and 90% off tickets are on standby, meaning that If the flight is overbooked, you or your f amily will have to wait for the next available flight. It could be a big problem!
The only tickets that are 100% immediately confirmed and guaranteed are your annual leave ticket we spoke about before and another category called " Special tickets ".
The beauty of the special tickets is that you can offer them to your friends! They cost 50% off the normal fare usually just like staff tickets but they are 100% guaranteed. The only bad thing is: they might not be available on that route.
In one year you get the following free tickets:
-1 annual leave ticket
-3 SRC subload tickets (they have same priority as the 90% discounted tickets and cost you airport taxes only)
When you join the company, you're given an Emirates Face Card. You pay around 9 USD per month for it. It entitles you free entries to many premium fitness clubs, swimming pools and resorts around Dubai, it's a free pass to all Emirates events and it also provides discounts at clubs and restaurants.
You may get another card called Emirates Platinum card that has the same benefits for the clubs that don't accept the Emirates Face card. In other words having both will get you everywhere with a discount.
Emirates medical insurance covers anything considered non-cosmetic that happened at work or out of work. In the past the company covered 70% of any procedure, leaving 30% of the amount for you to cover. Now they fully cover it so good news!
Dental insurance covers up to 2000 AED or 544 USD. This is for non-cosmetic procedures, like tooth fillings.
There's a trick to use this money for cosmetic purposes like teeth whitening. Just ask your doctor to declare it was non-cosmetic and your good.
