Alright so you first need to make sure you have your gadget deployment on toggle otherwise it won’t work.
So basically you want to place down the shield, then you want to walk up to it and hold the pick up button. Just before you pick it up you want to press and hold the gadget button until the shield is fully picked up.
Once you’ve done that you need to place it back down again, then you place down your gadget.
You know you’ve done it right if it looks like your placing down a breaching charge.
From there you need to place another one of your gadgets.
At this point you should have the shield in front of your face, but if the shield is going though your body all you need to do is pick up one of those gadgets.
From your perspective it looks completely normal but for every body else you’re gonna have a floating shield in front of your face.
It really doesn’t take that long to do, once you got the hang of it , it’s really straight forward
So for instance I’m on Xbox so I would briefly hold X then just before you pick up the shield I would press and hold rb.
Now you are able to pick up all your gadgets just make sure you don’t pick up the shield otherwise the glitch will go away.
I would say the best operator for this has gotta tachanka, because not only do you have a shield on your face, but when you go on his turret the shield moves down and covers your whole body so basically invincible from the front.
As soon as he gets of the turret the shield goes back up.
This does work with rook but I wouldn’t recommend it because his arm does kinda stick through the shield.
If you get a full squad you can all run around with deployable shields on your head.
This can also be done with recruit and Mira but I forgot to get a clip of that.
Now this glitch is working on all platforms so you’ll be able to do this Regardless of what you play on.
