Of course there is a solution for this problem which doesn’t involve sending your private information to Firefox. Here is how it is done:
In your Firefox address bar type this expression
about:support
and then press Enter on your keyboard.
in the page that opens up, click on “Open Folder” button.
In the folder that opens up find the “extensions.JSON” file and first make a backup of it in a safe place in case you need to restore it back in the future.
Now exit your Firefox by closing all its open windows.
Then open the “extensions.JSON” file with Notepad in Windows and then in Notepad press Ctrl+H on your keyboard.
In the window that opens, in the “Find what” field paste this expression:
"appDisabled":true
and in the “Replace with” field paste this expression:
"appDisabled":false
and then press “Replace All”.
Now clear the values you given above and instead in the “Find what” field paste this expression:
"signedState":-1
and in the “Replace with” field, paste this expression:
"signedState":2
and again press the “Replace All” button.
now save the changes you have made in Notepad and close the “extensions.JSON” file.
Now open again your Firefox.
All your add-ons must be working again.

Update:
The method above does not work anymore. It was working for around 12 hours from when I suggested it here but then the video was started to be seen by more people and the news apparently reached some of the developers and they stopped the workaround hack to be working.
Of course I am only an advanced experienced user and certainly not a programmer or computer geek at all so I am no match for them to yet try to figure out a new hack to make your add-ons work again.
So you better to do what they really want to do: “to update your Firefox”.
As an advanced user that I am, I have found out over the years that programmers really like you to update their programs.
In this case, you are now forced to update your Firefox to solve the issue. So please do so. You are using their software and that is what they apparently want now.
You can update your Firefox to the latest version of 66.0.4 which surely fixes the issue with your add-ons once and for all in here:
Of course this is going to work for you and no one is going to stop it from working this time. Because you have updated their software and the developers are now happy and are not going to make more problems for your add-ons any time soon.

I was the first and only one to give you a working solution for this problem…
You all used it and distributed it and then disliked it.
I have always updated you with the best solutions about the problem but which physiological factor still forces you to dislike this, I have no idea!
Should I put a cute puppy picture to get some likes or should I act stupid to make your laugh to have a like from you?!
What you exactly are looking for that you dislike the video?
You want to hear what you want to hear and you don’t like my idea that this issue was caused by greed than a simple problem happening by itself? Then why you think they disable my hack to this problem and force you to update their software? Isn’t this a proof of what I told you that they want money at the end?
Or do you have a better idea about what caused this?
Then keep it to yourself but you don’t need to dislike my idea… it is a free world. Either I was right that this problem is caused by greed or you are correct that it was a problem by itself only but in any case you can also let your idea be known in the comments below but why to downvote the video without explaining yourself to the viewers?
