Egypt's 1st Nile floating hospital provides free treatment for children

Egypt's 1st Nile floating hospital provides free treatment for children In early March, Rotary Egypt, a branch of the International Rotary Club, launched the giant medical ship on a 90-day journey on the Nile River to sail to Egypt's different cities.
The ship, the first of its kind in the Middle East, has been transformed into a travelling hospital equipped with clinics, laboratories and a pharmacy.
In the ship, doctors, nurses, specialists and pharmacists of 20 clinics are all working voluntarily to offer treatment and surgeries for the children in need for free.
The project, which targets the poorest areas in Egypt, has also seen massive collaboration from different Egyptian governmental and non-governmental institutions.
