Cossack ski drill @ Skieasy.  Improve your posture and engage the core! The Cossack ski drill is really good for engaging you core whilst skiing, which is an important part of maintaining balance. It also helps to maintain a "quiet" upper body, which is important for skiing in balance (the legs should be doing the moving)! I still have work to do as you can see the occasional over adjustment - check back in a few weeks to see if I have improved!

To do the drill:-

Just cross your arms and keep them at shoulder height in front of you like a Cossack dancer. Once you get the idea, why not add some upper / lower body separation by trying to keep the folding arms facing downhill and try to turn your legs under you!
