Mr. Auto Raja, a charismatic personality who had started the Home of Hope, which as the name suggests is shelter for destitute people living in Karnataka. Mr. Raja began this noble venture over 20 years ago. His NGO, has rescued over 11,000 people in need, providing them with the basic necessities needed to live out their remaining days with dignity.
Mr. Tammanna Gowdru, who is the Principal of Moorarji Residential School, Kandali, Hassan, is a man who has dedicated his life to the field of education. Mr. Tammanna has helped shape many children’s future through his vision and leadership.
The event was kicked off by inviting the guests on stage for lighting of the lamp ceremony, followed by words of encouragement by the Chief guests to the young minds and all others present. This was followed by honoring the meritorious students for their various achievements. The large crowd which had gathered to be a part of the event was mesmerized by the flawless performance of the children on stage. There were numerous songs which were sung, and many inspiring dance numbers rendered by The Scholars’ World School’s own children.
The event was a roaring success. The warm feedback received has only strengthened the resolve of the directors of Puttu Education Trust to take this annual event forward, with the hope of taking it a notch higher than all the previous years.
