Hope y'all doing great. So my VLOG/05 is out, in which I will be showing you the places that are a must visit in Chiang Mai. I hired a motorbike which cost be 200/- TBH. I would recommend travellers to hire motorbikes rather then go for paid tours around the city. It is the best way to explore the city.
1. Wat Phra That Doi Suthep - This is a Temple in Chiang Mai and is one of the most famous among places to visit in Chiang Mai. The entry fee is only 30 THB. It is a religious site to Thai people. The temple is located at a distance of 15 Km from Chiang Mai city. Visitors have to climb 309 steps to reach the temple. As in all the holy places and temples around Thailand you have to be properly dressed here as well. There are many Tours that are organised for tourist who want to visit the temple and other places outside Chiang Mai city, but I would rather suggest travellers to hire a motorbike and travel by there own. It is an amazing experience.
2. Bhubing Rajanives Palace - After visiting Doi Suthep you can head towards Bhubing Palace. Bhubing Palace is a royal residence. It is open from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM. I was late and couldn't visit it. Be sure to start your journey as early as possible (8:00 AM) in the morning so you don't miss out any of the sights. In Thailand most of the Temple and other places close early so it is recommended to rise up early and start your journey as early as possible to make the most of your time.
3. Hmong Village - Hmong Village is located at 5Km distance form Doi Suthep. In this village visitors are able to see the tribal lifestyle of the villagers and how they used to live in the past. Silver jewellery, tribal crafts, traditional outfits are sold by the villagers in the Hmong market. There is a waterfall named as Doi pui waterfall in the village. You can spend a few hours in the village looking around and even clicking some pictures in the beautiful garden they have maintained.
Along the way while visiting these beautiful sights travellers can take a break near View points of Chiang Mai city. The view points offer very beautiful views of the Chiang Mai city and you must stop on your way to have a look. You can also grab refreshments sold by people there.
