Nikon is a well known brand worldwide. It has very popular still cameras in its stable but when it comes to video features Nikon is still lagging behind other manufacturer. Obviously one compact travel camera should have good video capability specially i this age of social networking. Sony has long been cashed in the idea. Others like Panasonic and Canon are following the trend. But Nikon is attempting in a half-hearted manner. Nikon camera produces excellent image quality but still using the slower contrast detect autofocus for video. But certainly it has to mend some ways to keep itself alive in the face of stiff competition. While experimenting with settings i came across some hidden features which are actually useful for video . This time i have recorded in 4k video for the first time.
