Akhay Khanna is 44 now, but he is still single. He has no secret affairs too. There was a time when he had having affairs with many actresses like Tara Sharma, Riya Sen, Sera. Then why he is still unmarried. Actually Akshay Khanna has a commitment phobia. He says, “See I find it very unnatural to stay in a relationship for that long. I know most of the world finds it more natural but I don’t. I feel I should be allowed to move from one relationship to another whenever I want to.” He says that he is too scared of having responsibilities, like taking care of a child or a wife. He does not want to give up on his freedom as a single man. He says, “My aloneness is extremely valuable to me. I know that I’m an oddball given that today 90% of all human beings are extremely social and I, for one, am a part of profession which is not perceived to be for introverts, but I enjoy my personal space.” So it seems that he is enjoying his personal space and freedom. He is happy to be unmarried. May be his decision is influenced by his father’s married life as it was not a good experience for him and his brother and mom.
