37 Year Trading Veteran Shares DTA Experience Today we present you our student from New York, Howard Marks. His personal experience with trading is quite special as he started trading in 1992. His first account was with Chicago Grain Company where he would trade the traditional commodities such as wheat or corn. He explained to us how trading rules were a lot simpler in the past and that he can see that now there is much more complexity and participation in the market. That is why it is so important to enroll in a trading academy if you want to actually obtain benefits from trading. Howard has just retired from his career as a physician and he decided to finally fulfill his dream of becoming a trader. It is never too late to become a full-time trader and to seek for that economic freedom we are all dreaming about.
Once he started back to trade and he got beat up pretty bad, he realized in a hard way that the trading environment had changed drastically since he once was trading and that he would need new tools and a big dose of new knowledge to be able to trade successfully. He then decided to find an academy that would give him all that information. He also highlighted that there is a lot of information to integrate and a lot of work to do but he wants to continue with the DTA training sessions and follow-up classes and send his charts to be reviewed as in the end, all that experience will make him rely on his own decision and will turn him in a successful trader.
