According to Court Documents, James Demons also known as YNW Melly & friend Cortlen Henry shot their two friends after leaving a studio session around 3am to 4am. It looks like the investigators provided Thorough examinations and to crack this case open. They used Cell Phone Towers, Surveillance and the actual Shell Cases. After leaving the studio, all Four of the Friends loaded into a 2018 Jeep which was Rented by YNW’s Manager. Melly was seated in the driver's backseat, while the two Victims were seating in the passengers front and back seat. According to records, the four traveled towards a construction area or a closed portion of the highway, that’s when the two victims were fired upon where they sanked instantly. After the crime happened, the two who are currently charged Melly, and Henry drove around with the victims for about 15 to 20 minutes to get their story together. After driving around for a few, Melly exited the vehicle, while Henry took the victims to the Hospital. After Henry arrived at the hospital he told the investigators, that they were victims to a drive-by shooting, and this when things went bad for the suspects. Everything that Henry said was proved to be false days after the investigation continued. Forensics proved after the shooting that happen Inside the car, the two suspects got outside the car and fired additional bullets into the jeep to make the incident look like a drive by. They pulled up cell phone records where it shows YNW Melly present during the time of the shooting but exiting the jeep right before Henry took the friends to the hospital. And then after the bullets and shell cases were examined, it showed the Discharge of the weapons that caused the victims to be deceased was Fired from the location Melly was sitting according to cell phone records and the recording studios surveillance when they left. Man all I can say is this, the Broward County investigators did their homework and it looks like the two Demons, and Henry is going to sit down for a long time.
