There is been a rumor going around for a while that seems to be true regarding the next generation Xbox consoles. The rumor states that Microsoft plans to release multiple consoles a launch, on that is cheaper but less powerful an the other will be more expensive but very powerful. While I do think this is smart I also believe Xbox will need a lot more than multiple consoles to stand against the PS5 when it comes to next gen. There is no doubt that Sony will offer a very powerful and decently priced console but most importantly they will have sequels to games lined up that people will convince them to buy a PS5 day 1. When it comes to PlayStation vs Xbox, its about more than just console power and price.
