Feb 15, 2019. Representatives from the Orthodox Jewish community of Rockland County, NY, protested changes being made to religious education. The demonstration took place outside the Board of Cooperate Educational Services in West Nyack.
Concerned families and school leaders say they don't want to change how they are educating students at local yeshivas.
"This country was based on freedom of religion and freedom of speech. We've had this education for thousands of years and we will not change it. This is why we came out here,” said one protester.
