With just six minutes remaining, Kieran Trippier looked like he had a loose ball under control. But he didn’t see Hugo Lloris rushing out of his goal and blindly tried to find him with a pass. But it went past the French goalkeeper and rolled into the net, handing Chelsea the three points. If that wasn’t funny enough, someone has now put Trippier’s own goal alongside commentary of his World Cup semi-final free-kick against Croatia. Back in the summer, the Spurs full-back gave England an early lead in their semi-final clash with a delightful free-kick. And, just by chance, the commentary of that goal works absolutely perfectly with his own-goal.
