Case Study - Simon Wong - Match Colours Clearance

A long term (and long distance!) coaching client, Simon Wong in Australia was ‘stoked’ when he made a crunch colours clearance in a match in front of a lot of spectators in a tournament.
Whilst thousands of players can already do this, what is significant is that this was the first time Simon had done it in a key situation, and it was not without a lot of dedication either.
We discuss the key shots that trip people up on the colours, the pressure he felt, and the sheer boredom of practicing the colours hundreds of times in practice until he was automatic at the key shots on the colours that trip most people up.
