Appeal Court orders INEC to allow Atiku, PDP inspect electoral materials The Abuja division of the Court of Appeal has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to allow the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar to inspect all electoral materials used during the just concluded general elections.

Atiku and the PDP had filed a motion ex-parte before the court on Tuesday, seeking for leave of the court to allow them to inspect the Voters Register, the Smart Card Reader Machines, Ballot Papers and other vital documents that were used in the conduct of the presidential elections.

They equally prayed the tribunal to compel the electoral body to allow their agents to scan and make photocopies of vital documents used in the conduct of the election, for the purpose of establishing alleged irregularities.
