Witness to the Beating and Blinding of Isaac Woodard

On February 12, 1946, Mrs. Corine Johnson witnessed officers Edward Lane and Lynwood Shull beat Isaac Woodard, a black soldier returning from World War ll, in the eyes until he was blind.
