2) Personality; there are some guys who day trade but can't swing trade at all. The personality kind of dictates the type of trader you're going to be. If you're starting out and not sure go with swing trading as it offers a better lifestyle for you.
3) Strategies; What strategies are we going to employ?
4) Current Market Conditions; the choice of timeframe also depends on the current market conditions.
