Meghan Fashion - Meghan Markle letter: Duchess 'highly regarded' - and it could be thanks to Thomas

Thomas Markle shared the letter with the Mail on Sunday last week, in response to an article recently published by People Magazine. The 72-year-old’s reaction came after the publication revealed it had interviewed five of Meghan Markle’s close friends, in which they discussed the Duchess of Sussex as well as her relationship with her father - whom is believed to be estranged. The five-page letter, which was dated August 2018, addressed the comments the retired television lighting director has made to the world’s media. Kensington Palace declined to comment when contacted by Express.co.uk. The handwritten letter, believed to be by Meghan, 37, is written in neat italics. Handwriting and education specialist Melanie Harwood, who created the Start-Bee Handwriting Scheme for Primary Schools in 2010, studied the note. Sharing her expertise exclusively with Express.co.uk, she revealed that the piece of writing provided a huge hint as to what her education was like. “I can see from Meghan Markle’s handwriting that she has received an excellent education and that she is, indeed, a deeper cognitive thinker,” she penned. “Meghan has been taught to write well and her handwriting is both legible and fluent. It is excellent.” And, it seems that it’s not just the teaching staff at her primary school who may have been a good influence. Melanie went on to pay credit to those who prepared her for school - most likely her parents Doria Ragland and Thomas Markle, who divorced when she was six years old. “Her primary school teacher and the person that prepared her, physically, for school (fine and gross motor skill development) deserves a mention here,” Melanie said. “This is a person who has been educated to a high standard and it shows in her handwriting.” Another point the expert noticed was the top flourishes in her work - which could reveal a lot about her personality. “She is writing with added flourishes. While this is aesthetically attractive, it shows a flair of creativity too,” Melanie shared. “She has the control and strength in her hand, wrist, arm and shoulder girdle to keep her handwriting all in line and placed perfectly within the 'grid'. “Her letter sizing is perfect. She must have been a highly regarded and high achieving student because her handwriting is superb.” And, while it’s unknown how long Meghan has written in this style, it seems that the piece of writing was so neat, Melanie was convinced it would have made her a model student in the classroom. “All teachers and parents would absolutely love for their children to write as well as Meghan Markle writes. She would have been every teacher’s dream pupil with handwriting of this high standard, as her school work would have been neat, legible and fluent. “If I did not know whose handwriting this belonged to, I would put it up as a template of what all children should aspire toward and that it belongs to a person that is academically successful, as well as that of a deeper cognitive thinker.” RE
