MACC provides new shoes for children

The Mayor's Fund and the Simpleton Grant provides money for children to get new shoes. Parents are given gift cards to Payless to shop for new shoes for their children. This provides buying power to families and helps empower them. It also gives children the power to pick out a new pair of shoes. MACC's philosophy is a Hand up, not a hand out.

-Provide emergency assistance for basic needs not met by other organizations
- Empower individuals with skills necessary to break cycles of poverty
-Enrich the lives of those we serve as well as our volunteers who serve
-Offer information and referrals to resources and services available in the community
