Earlier today, U.S. review group Consumer Reports announced that it had removed the Tesla Model 3 from its recommended lists, due to increased reports of reliability issues in its Reader Reliability Survey.
Some news outlets have proclaimed this news is going to cause major headaches for Tesla. Tesla fan-sites and electric car news outlets have suggested that Consumer Reports has an issue with Tesla, and Tesla's shares took a slight tumble earlier today as Wall Street reacted to the Consumer Reports news.
But will it really make a big difference to Tesla Model 3 sales? In the short term, no. Here's why.
