Brother ScanNCut Unboxing- CM350 Review - Cutting Stamped Images - Hey Love by Stampin’ Up!

In this video, I am joined by my friend Marshell who received a Brother Scan and Cut CM350 for Christmas. This video is dedicated to all of my crafty friends who still haven't taken the ScanNCut out of the box. First, we unboxed the CM350 or ScanNCut2 and then we put it to good use while reviewing several of its features. The project Marshell is working on at the moment is cutting out stamped images. She already stamped and colored many Valentine critters from the Hey Love stamp set by Stampin' Up! It is featured in the 2019 Occasions Catalog. We scanned in the stamped images and then cut them out using an outline distance of 0.04." We discussed a trick for getting the hearts to cut out behind the skunk. Marshell used a pencil to enclose all of the open lines. After cutting out the first page of stamped images (Apes and Alligators), I noticed that the blade was not aligned. Therefore, we went over how to use the Scanning/Cutting Position Alignment feature to align the blade and then there was a great improvement when cutting out the next set of stamped images. We cut out the next set of stamped images (Skunks) which will be used for Valentine Treats. All of the images were cut out using a Blade Depth of 4 for Whisper White card stock. Next, we demonstrated how to draw using the pen tool which came with Marshell's Brother Scan and Cut. We used the pen tool to draw Aunt and Happy Birthday. Then, later, after our video, Marshell cut them out and has them to use for a card. As you can see, the Brother ScanNCut is easy to use right out of the box. It can scan and cut out stamped images, patterned paper and has loads of built in shapes and fonts to work with. By connecting it to your wireless network, you unlock endless possibilities for projects.
