What to do when sales are slow and what not to do in a sales call? Somewhere we all are confused in sales because we are not using the correct method.

BUYER PERSONA is one of the most important methods we all should know about and especially if we are related to sales and marketing.
1. First, we will know what is buyer persona, and
2. Second How did we create a persona
A buyer persona is a semi-fictional character created by us. We can give our buyer persona a name and face so, that our sales or marketing team can feel the character. Lets Dive Into It -
I am running a digital marketing agency, and I pitch customers to do my digital marketing course but, Did I know who is my customer and my target audience. Here enter buyer persona - in short, it a fiction character who tell me about my target audience and help me to know how to convince people to buy your product.
For example - as a salesman, I talk to a lot of people and try to convince them to buy my product but, I understand not everyone is my customer. When you do not aware - how to do sales and marketing, how to convince customers in sales, how to pitch a product to a customer, how to know your customer, how to maximize my sales, and who is my target audience? Then buyer persona will help you to know everything related to the customer, sales and marketing.
How to create a buyer persona?
As we identify a persona is a semi-fictional character and if you want to create a buyer persona you have to do this-
1. Take interviews of your existing clients to take out the common needs, characteristics, demands and wants so, that you will know which is your target audience. For Example - for patent developer course you cannot pitch an art student. You must know what your existing customers want and why they are buying or using your product so, that you can pitch or target new customers.
2. Choose common things, words, needs, demands, characteristics, sources and wants so, that you can merge them and create your buyer persona.
3. Give a name, face (not a cartoon character but, a real person face, real identity) and add some description about him so, that your sales or marketing team understand or feel your buyer persona.
4. Train your sales and marketing team according to the buyer persona character so, that they know who to sell, what are we actually selling, what to say in the sales meeting, and how to sell.
Especially if you selling life insurance, sometimes you may be confused how to pitch customers for life insurance.
Now it becomes so easy for us to target customers because we exactly knew who we are targeting but, let me tell you there is a difference between a target market and persona.
Persona is pretty different from a target market -
1. A target market is like a bunch of many people but, in persona, we are not talking about a group of people.
2. In persona out of all the group of people, we have created one person now we only pitch this one person and marketing to only this one person.
3. We marketing to everybody who has characteristics of our buyer persona and leaving by the way everybody who does not has these characteristic which I have written in my persona because they are not my customer.
Now you want to know why I am leaving businesses lets see-
1. By leaving some businesses you focussed towards who you are targeting to and who is your actual customer, and
2. By being focused on who you are targeting to you solve a lot of other problems.
