Voices of Asia – The Moment: Hareez Hamed Al Menhali

Voices of Asia: a powerful mini-documentary series of inspiring videos which celebrate the true spirit of football and the human stories behind the tournament theme of #BringingAsiaTogether.
Episode One features Hareez Al Menhali, the UAE national and superfan who was spotted by cameras in tears at the previous AFC Asian Cup in Australia and whose iconic image became a symbol for both the competition and the powerful emotion of sport.
For Hareez, his journey with the UAE national team and the #AsianCup2019 will start all over again with his beloved team when the hosts feature in the opening match of Group A against Bahrain at Zayed Sports City Stadium on Saturday 5th January at 8pm.
