Hi Everyone Sandman Here,
This video is brought to you by a donation from Superlogic and here's what he has to say: "Hello Sandman, I've enjoyed your content for 6 months and now my curiosity overwhelms me. Especially with regards to your solutions and efforts for a mgtow vision. Things you discuss like artificial wombs, lover bots and VR (hope I got that right)? I'd like your thoughts on technologies that exist and are improving rapidly to provide a different approach. As in Ray Bradury's book titled "Fahrenheit 451" where everyone has the wherewithal to enhance their visual presentation (presumably thru cosmetic surgery) and I'm taking that as more likely than artificial wombs etc. wouldn't it be interesting (acknowledging how important first impressions are)? There'd still be the problem with inherent and individual different natures/personalities of course but somehow I FEEL this would be a good (simplfying/clarifying) start to "equality"? I've got some cognitive dissonance here , help! Cheers and peace out." Well Superlogic thanks for the donation and topic. In the age of selfies and narcissism is it any wonder that plastic surgery is more popular than ever? Maybe Ray Bradbury was onto something? So you want me to compare a MGTOW vision with lover bots and artificial wombs versus a future where people enhance themselves with cosmetic surgery? I don't really know how much of a comparison you can make between the two. One is about just about individual enhancing their appearance to appear higher than they are in the sexual marketplace and the other technology to aid men in a sexual revolution is about changing the very social institutions and struture of our society. So lets look at what cosmetic surgery has done in our society. Celebrities have enhanced their bodies and faces so they can expand the longevity of their tv and film careers but in the process
they have made most of society feel inadequate with regard to their own personal appearance. With regards to Loverbots and artificial wombs when they do come out they could make women feel inadequate about their own appearance as well. So maybe there is a valid comparison afterall. Both cosmetic surgery and these newly emerging male sexual revolution technologies increase the amount of anxiety and anger in the people that either can't afford them or if they are women they feel that anxiety because they can't compete with an android or robot that looks and feels perfect. In our narcissistic society first impressions are everything. As far as I'm concerned it takes a very brave female to show off her face after the age of forty without makeup on to larger numbers of people. To give you an example of a woman that does her name is Wonderhussy and she was one of my internet crushes a while back. In her videos she shows herself both wearing makeup and shots where she's not wearing it and you can sort of see her hair thinning out.
