Stormwall Blockade Normal and Stormwall Blockade Heroic guide! Stormwall Blockade is a raid boss in the Battle of Dazar'Alor raid of BfA. This Stormwall Blockade boss guide will show you the Stormwall Blockade abilities that you'll see in the Normal, Heroic and LFR versions of the Stormwall Blockade fight. Mythic Stormwall Blockade has additional mechanics not shown in this Normal and Heroic Stormwall Blockade guide. Footage of Stormwall Blockade for this boss guide is from PTR raid testing and some mechanics may look different or change when the Battle of Dazar'Alor raid releases on live servers starting January 22nd.
The Stormwall Blockade is the second Horde story encounter, and Alliance players will find themselves race changed into Horde races for this fight. In the Stormwall Blockade boss fight, you battle against Sister Katherine and Brother Joseph on separate boats in Phase One. It's very important to split your raid in half carefully for this, since it's key to damage them down evenly. If one side is getting ahead, you can transfer players using the Translocation Pedestal on the boats.
Katherine's boat is mostly about dodging lightning, while Brother Joseph has you move out of pools that spawn beneath you and kill adds. Both bosses will shield and start channeling energy into the boss, which you want to kick as soon as you can because if Laminaria reaches 100 energy she'll end the fight with Laminaria boss ability Catastrophic Tides. Kill both priests at the same time and then take the pedestal back to the docks to fight Laminaria.
This phase was not working correctly in any of my raid testing, so I've demonstrated the mechanics using animated diagrams as best as I can.
