Photoshop: How to remove and change background (with reflection effect)

In this video we'll teach how to remove or change the background in photoshop as well as adding reflection effect.
This is a short video that covers everything you need to know when it comes to create a new window background or replacing the sky out the window using Adobe Photoshop.

0:04 Hi!
0:07 In this video you will learn how to change window background as well as how to create landscape reflection
0:12 First, hit 'Ctrl J' to make a copy of the background
0:17 Take the magic wand tool
0:20 And start clicking on the window background to make a selection
0:30 hit 'Ctrl +' to zoom in and 'Ctrl -' to zoom out
0:36 After selecting all the background, take the Quick selection tool, make sure the hit the + symbol above and delete unnecessary selected parts
1:09 Hit the mask
1:16 Click the mask to make sure it's a good selection
1:33 Take a black brush and paint to erase unnecessarywhite parts
1:39 hit the bracket keys to make brush size bigger or smaller and paint where it's needed
1:45 'Ctrl -' to zoom out
1:53 Click the copied layer's thumbnail
1:57 Go to 'File' and then hit 'Place' to upload the new sky background
2:03 Hold the Alt+Shift and click to drag (Alt+Shift will maintain the original proportion of the photo) and hit 'Enter'
2:09 Drag the new sky/background layer down below the coied layer
2:15 If needed, reposition the new background by using the moving tool
2:24 Now let's make a reflection effect on the floor (even though it's not realistic regarding the distance of the skyscrapers)
2:33 'Ctral J' to make a copy of the new background and drag it to the top
2:43 Hit 'Ctrl T' to transform
2:47 Right click and select 'Flip vertical'
2:51 decrease opacity to see which point we'd like to drag it to, and then increase it back
2:59 hit 'Enter'
3:06 Hover over the mask thumbnail while holding the 'Alt' key and then drag the mask up to the new background layer
3:13 Hit the layer's thumbnail
3:16 Go to 'Filter' and then select 'Gaussian blur'
3:22 Play with the radius to dictate the level of the reflection effect and hit OK
3:37 Now hit the fx symbol on the right side of the layer to open up the Layer style option
3:42 And then hold the 'Alt' key and click on the white arrow to break it and then take the left piece and drag it al the way to the left
3:55 and do the same with the black arrow beneath as shown
4:15 Hit OK
4:30 If needed, You can always come back to the 'gaussian blur' and do more changes since because it's a smart object
4:41 That's it.
4:44 Lastly, Click the top layer and then hold shift and click the last one and then hit 'Ctrl G' to put them all in a group
