Pasar malam is Malay for night markets they are an integral part of Malaysian culture. Every local neighbourhood in Malaysia will have its own small pasar malam, but in this series I will show you some of the biggest and most famous pasar malam in all of Malaysia! In Part 6, I’ve reached my final destination in Malaysia – Kuala Lumpur! Pasar Malam are a big deal in the capital too, with at least one major night market happening every day of the week. Sri Petaling night market on Tuesday is usually a bit far out of the centre of KL, but a mere 10 minutes ride away from the long distance bus terminal, so an excellent place to start my culinary journey in KL after getting off my bus. Let’s see what kind of food we can find here in KL!
