"Only Eating Meat" - The Carnivore Diet...not a good idea



Ladies and gentleman, I'm back after the new years to bring you another video. Today we're talking about one of the trends I have been seeing across the strength community The Carnivore Diet. The most minimalist mentality when it comes to diets, all you eat is meat. This fad may seem wild to most but some people have seen a benefits from it, that doesn't mean that the average person should jump into this diet because your favorite fitness guru is selling a diet program to go along with it. Joe Rogan shed light on this topic on a bigger scale on episode #1050 with Dr. Shawn Baker of his show the Joe Rogan Experience. To inform yourself on this diet topic, it is an interesting listen if you want to sit through to 2 hr interview. In this little video I cover my thoughts on the Carnivore diet and weather or not you should consider looking into it. For nearly everyone cutting out every source of food besides eating only meat I feel 100% confident that this diet isn't going to be the one for you. Since there isn't much research on radical diets such of this one you aren't going to find many scientific studies out there with undeniable evidence that going carnivore is healthy or even safe for long term health. I do commend Dr. Shawn Baker for experimenting on his body for his own make shift science project and been going carnivore for the long term. As of the Rogan Podcast I believe he did not have his health markers checked out, but since then I believe he has go follow him on Instagram @shawnbaker1967 to find out what his relatively short experience with eating only red meat has done for his blood work.
