How to run Bust-A-Groove without audio delay on your PC (works for other PSX rhythm games too)

How to run Bust-A-Groove without audio delay on your PC (works for other PSX rhythm games too)

Running synced PSX games on your PC:
1) Download and install RetroArch.
2) Attach an USB gamepad and download the Core "Sony - PlayStation (Beetle PSX HW)"
I'm using a Xbox One controller.
3) Copy the BIOS files to the "/RetroArch/system" folder
I can't attach the bios files, you need to google and download them:
scph5500.bin
scph5501.bin
scph5502.bin
4) Go to Driver and change the Video Driver to Vulkan
5) Drag and drop your game into the emulator (CUE/BIN)
You must find and download the games yourself. I can't give you links.
6) (Optional) Improve the visual quality of the game. Press F1 and go to Options.
Set Renderer to Hardware
Set Internal resolution to x4
Set Internal color depth to 32bpp
Set Texture filtering to xBR
Set PGXP operation mode to memory only
Set PGXP vertext cache to On
Set PGXP perspective correct texturing to On
Set Widescreen hack mode to On (don't use it on games with prerendered backgrounds e.g. Resident Evil, Final Fantasy)
Set Skip BIOS to enabled
Set Dithering pattern to internal resolution
Special thanks to the channel "Simply Austin" for explaining in his videos how the visual settings work.
