About this video: If you want to learn how to record Minecraft without any lag using OBS, this is the video for you. I show you exactly how to start recording Minecraft, and how to do it completely lag free. I also go over the minimum computer you need to be able to record Minecraft, and then, how to install OBS. After that, we jump into #Minecraft and setup #Optifine in order to stop lag while recording. Let's go ahead and get started!
First and foremost, we need to download and install #OBS. This is a very simple process as OBS installs just like any other program. You can then find the OBS download link in the description above. After that, go through the OBS installation process, and it will open up. Setup OBS to record, and then add a new source. Select that you want to add a game, and select Minecraft as that game. Now, you can click start recording, and you will begin making your Minecraft video.
The problem is, however, you will still be lagging while you are recording, so we need to fix this. This is actually going to be a very simple process. Just download Optifine using the link above, and install it with Java. If you don't have Java, you need to download it and run the Jarfix linked above. After that, open up Minecraft, and select the Optifine profile. Click play.
After you are on the Minecraft main menu with Optifine installed, you need to setup Optifine. I go over how to do this perfectly for recording in the video. Thus, this video also shows you how to setup Optifine for recording Minecraft. After you are done setting up Optifine, start your recording and jump in game. As long as you have an okay PC, you wil be able to record Minecraft without any issues!
