Buying Boots for Trout Fishing in High Water - Cheap Fishing Gear

After getting my shoes wet last time I went trout fishing, I'm buying some cheap boots to walk in the high water. I start the day at a trout spot where I didn't catch anything but snags. After that, I move to a new trout fishing spot and the water is too high for me to get to my favorite locations. I decide that buying boots may be a good solution here so I head to the store. Based on a tip from a subscriber, I find a nice pair of cheap rubber boots at Dick's sporting goods. Will buying buying cheap gear like these boots help me catch a few trout in the high water?
