Astronomers discover mysterious repeating radio burst from distant galaxy

Short, bright bursts of radio signals are coming from distant galaxies, and scientists have no idea what they are. They’re called fast radio bursts, or FRBs. A telescope in Canada just discovered many more of them, including one that repeats. The Resident discusses.
