The ongoing Investigations into the 14 Riverside Complex Terror Attack have established that Mukhtar Ibrahim, an assistant Imam in Mandera Town, communicated and facilitated the movement of one of the attackers from Mandera to their target. At the same time, slain Al Shabaab terrorist Ali Salim Gichunge’s mother Sakina Mariam Abdalla, who was charged in court alongside Mukhtar Ibrahim today, has told detectives that he last communicated with his son in 2016.
