We drive to Asheville North Carolina to add another sticker to our RV travel map to tour America's largest private home, the Biltmore Estate. Our visit doesn't start off too well as we are left stuck at the mall with an issue with our truck. After a redneck fix we head into downtown to find Christmas and then we finally head to the Biltmore Estate where we sign up for the Upstairs Downstairs Tour, a private behind the scenes tour where we descended the back stairs to explore the servants life at the Biltmore. Then after our lunch at the Biltmore Stables we book another behind the scenes tour that gave us some of the most amazing views from the rooftops and balconies of the Biltmore and get a closer look at the design and construction of the home. Finally we get to take a self-guided walk thru the public spaces of the home that is decked out for the Holidays with over 55 Christmas trees, miles of garland, and thousands of poinsettias around the home.
